To find the Chi-square value:

1. Enter the data into a matrix.

• Press the AC/ON button, from the main menu press 3(MAT).

• With Mat A highlighted, type 3 EXE, 3 EXE.

• Enter data for sophomore, candidate 1 into the first cell, EXE.

• Repeat until all data are entered into matrix (enter across then down).

• Press EXIT then MENU.
